I don't know if this is a problem unique unto me so I just want to know if others are having this problem.

In Firefox, when you go into your file manager and hover over some of your files, do other files disappear out of sight? Keep moving your mouse around to see if it does this for you?

However, in IE, the files do not disappear, but if I go to scroll down using the scroll bar, then all of a sudden a blue box will come up and it follows the mouse, and it will say it's selecting X-number of files (however many the files are covered by the blue box).

Hi there Littleus,

Are you having this problem with all of your sites or just one of them? If it is just one could you please let me know which one it is?

Thanks for working with us on this.

It's all of them.

This is what one of them looks like in the file manager. You can see 4 empty spots.

Hi Littlus,

Are you missing any files from your file manager or are the slots 'extra"?

Have you recently updated your flash? Could you please check your plugins to see what versions you are using.

If you are using Firefox you can type: about:plugins into the browser bar and it should tell you what versions you are using.

Hi Littleus - I think this could be a problem unique to you and your browser :) We're unable to see the same issue on our side, and we've not had anyone else tell us that they're also experiencing it. However, if anyone else sees this, please let us know.

I'm also going to forward this to our engineers for review.

Regarding IE.. is this what's supposed to happen.. please read my excerpt:

Unfortunately, I don't have any further details. The problems started a day ago.

Can you please let me know about that quirk in IE? Is that what's supposed to happen? If so, then the problem may be on my end still.

Thanks.

Hi there Littleus, It shouldn't do that in IE - I will double check for you but it should just scroll down. It shouldn't select from the scroll bar.

Okay thanks Jeremy. Then this indicates that the problem may not be on my end as I experienced this at my local library as well as at home.

Thanks Jeremy! So, it's definitely not me then? I was thinking I may have to re-install my whole system?

Hi Littleus,
I think until we know the origin of the error I wouldn't suggest re-installing anything just yet.
I am hoping for feedback soon and will keep you updated.

Just wanted everyone on this thread to know that the problem has been fixed!

I simply uninstalled everything to do with Firefox - made a totally clean uninstall.

Then, I installed Firefox again and presto.. my issues are gone! Yay!!!

IE7 is still having the same issues but it's not a big deal. Perhaps I'll try to re-install IE7 and see if that makes any difference.
