Sorting blog entries

There are some very useful ideas in the blogs here but sometimes finding them is difficult.

I know that I can use the Search Topics function but the results do not come up in any meaningful order. Often very old, and now irrelevant, posts show up.

For example, I am interested in developments on the production of tables in SiteBuilder but finding posts that are over 3 years old is hardly useful.

When a search is conducted,, would it be possible for the most recent posts to show first or, alternatively, have some way for the user to chose a sort order?

Hello Rob

I'm afraid that we don't have much control of the way search results of our Support Forum display. The search feature doesn't necessarily show the oldest posts first. It all depends on the keywords you enter - and on the keywords the posters used. Some threads are indeed quite old and maybe even outdated which also depends on the subject that you're looking for.

There hasn't been a request on how to create tables for a long time which is probably why you get all those old posts. I think you could find a useful tip in option 2 of our tutorial Adding a table.
