Squeaky Clean Banner?

I must be blind here.. but according to Yola's style guide, SqueakyClean is one of the templates which allow custom banner images. I cannot see any banner template which indicate where the banner goes and the dimensions for that banner. All I see is the page header title where you can change the name of page but this is available on all templates.

Can someone lend me their glasses?!

I think it is custom backgrounds on that one.

John is correct.

Squeaky Clean allows for custom backgrounds.

Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Connor.. yes Cleanslate does offer both as do Tastelessly, Burlap, Bare Necessities, and No Frills.

Here's a style guide with filters that will tell you what each template is capable of:

I just signed up and have been looking at the different templates - I am interested in the No Frills template, but I have had the same problem of not seeing where the banner goes and the dimensions needed. (I looked at other templates which did indicate that information - I'm just not seeing it on the No Frills template...)

Hi Stephanie

No Frills actually does not have a banner template. This is one of the reasons why I love using this particular template. You are not restricted to the banner dimension. You can upload whatever size you want! Be mindful though of not making it too wide so that people don't have to scroll back and forth should the image not fit totally on the screen. A safe width is probably 900px.

Hi Stephanie - BareNecessities is the most similar to the NoFrills style and it does have an area for you to upload a banner. Looks like there is a mistake on our Style Guide which I'll fix quickly :)

Thank you littleus and Marije for your replies.

I will take a look at the BareNecessites template.

litteus - regarding the No Frills template - I am a total newbie at this - I am not sure how to upload my own banner and place it on the template if there is no "change banner" button. Can you tell me how I could do this? Thanks!

Hi Stephanie

If you have your own banner, all you have to do is simply upload the banner to your file manager. Then, drag an image widget over from the right-hand side and then select your banner from your file manager. If you find that the banner is too big for your liking, then you can edit it with Picnik and resize it a bit smaller.

I hope that gives you the answer you were looking for. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. If you want to see an example of my No Frills template with a banner - you can visit my site: http://dejavuapparel.yolasite.com
