I would like to know if it is possible to recreate my old homepage that I made on AOL using Easy Designer?
I know that I maybe could use my html editor, but the site on AOL is shutting down on Oct 31.
I am having a some what hard time moving my pictures and everything around on SynthaSite.

Hi there Frank welcome to Synthasite

You are going to be real happy that you found such an easy to use FREE site builder.

I know that you want to recreate your AOL site as it has been your friend for some time and you have become accustom to it. I will say that with all the options you now have at your disposal with Synthasite that your site is going to shine anew.

As to moving some of your old site over several easy ways to do it would be to open your AOL site in your browser:

1) Right click on your images, flash features, GIF files and dividers and then "Save image as" select the location on your computer to save all your images and then "OK"

2) Upload all your saved images to your Synthasite "File manager" and place in your new site with an image widget or a text widget. (see below for tutorial)

3) Highlight all your AOL site text one paragraph at a time and then "copy" then "paste" into a blank Wordpad or Notepad. You will then copy and paste all of the text into text widgets in your Synthasite site editor. (see below for a tutorial)

4) to transfer the links over all you need to do is right click on the link and then "copy link location" then paste the address into a Wordpad or Notepad blank page. Then highlight and copy the title and paste above the link URL in the Wordpad or Notepad document. When you are editing your new Synthasite it's pretty easy to insert the text and add the links to the text (see below for a tutorial)

As far as the Ads you may have you require the actual code to transfer those over and paste into a HTML widget.
