about 1 year ago I requested my account be closed. the response made was that I was paying no money so why not hold it. today I learn that you have renewed my domain. why may I ask. I have no interest in yola or having a web page with anyone

Hello Maureen,

I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations. I was unable to locate a previous email from you using the email you've used here in your forum profile. However, I was able to locate an account. This account has a domain, melizabeths.com as well as one year of Yola Bronze hosting. When these items were initially purchased, you received an email outlining that the auto-renewal will turned on. This is why you were charged.

It could be possible that the account you signed up with a year ago used a different email address and had only the Yola Free account. This would explain why you were advised to keep the account open.

Going forward, I have turned off the automatic renewal feature. Please let us know if you still wish to cancel both your domain and your Yola Bronze subscription.
