I just started playing around trying to get a feel for the site building software.
I have 3 sites I want to build. One is a basic store but there seems now way to add shipping, discounts, sub catagories etc. For example I want to sell Wheels magazines, I don't want a page with 200 magazines on it I would like someone to be able to click on Wheels magazines and be able to say...... choose pre 1980 pre 1990 - pre 2000 also be able to search issues with say "ford LTD" for example. Is there an facillity to do such things here or do I have to rethink this and actually learn to build a site from scratch?

Hi Michael,

I dont sell anything on my site so i dont know about shipping discounts.

The other part of the question is being clever with page links to sub pages. You could look here for a basic tutorial - http://www.yola.com/tutorials/creatin...

Or have a look through here http://yolacodes.yolasite.com/dddropdown for drop down menu examples - or google 'drop down menus' for more custom menu code.

Hi Michael,

You would need to add the cost of shipping to the price in the description field or include it in the total cost of your product. We are hoping to add more functionality (like this one) to the PayPal widgets in the near future.

We have a tutorial that explains how to create an online store: Creating An Online Store - http://www.yola.com/tutorials/creatin..., that you can look at for more information.

An alternative is to create your buttons and customize the shipping rates on PayPal.com. For information on how to add shipping to your products, please view PayPal's Website Payments Standard Integration Guide PDF - https://cms.paypal.com/cms_content/US...) (5.8mb PDF. Once you've customized your settings on PayPal, you can copy the HTML embed code provided and add it to your site using the HTML widget.
