Structured data drop

Can anyone shed light as to why on the 7th of June many websites saw a massive drop in their structured data stats? I've seen lots of people experience this issue, then a few days later it picked up again. Mine's still well down. Any idea on what happened and how to go about getting things back to where they were? I've also noticed a fall in SERPs too, something that other sites have also noticed. The term hcards is being banded around. Any idea if we are using this on Yola and is Google choosing to look poorly on this format?

Hello Will,

I did some research on your drop and it seems it was a change Google made.

You can see people discussing it here: http://productforums.google.com/forum...

I would suggest seeing if your traffic recovers and if it doesn't you might need to tweak some of your SEO details.

I hope this helps.

It's been almost a month now and I see no real recovery. What would you suggest I tweek? I've gone into WMT and have tried using the data highlighter tool. Do you mean this? Or the information on my yola site builder?
