Is the Style Designer still down? All I wanted to do was change my font on each page heading. I attempt to do so and nothing happens. And, if I copy and paste text from a word doc into the editor it takes way to long to fix. Any suggestions.
My website is jillcase.com

And, why do we have to create additional accounts just to make a comment?

Hello Jill

I think there may be a few misunderstandings, and I'd like to clear them up for you.

The Style Designer has never been down. You can use it to format your fonts sitewide. However, you will need to make sure that you don't have any individual inline formatting in your Text Widgets and that Custom CSS overrides added do not interfere with the changes you want to achieve. If you could let me know an example for a font change you'd like to make, I'll be happy to test this for you in your Sitebuilder. Please let me know for what kind of text you want the change (heading or paragraph) and which font you'd like to use.

We still need to advise against copying text from MS Word into your website as this text comes with their own formatting which is not web-friendly. If you'd like to copy text from MS Word to your website, you will need to make sure to strip any formatting that comes with it. To do this, you can paste it into a programme like Text Editor or Notepad, then re-copy it, and paste it to a Text Widget on Yola. This way you should be safe from unexpected results. Afterwards, you can format your text using the Style Designer or the inline formatting options of the Text Widget.

When you speak about making comments, do you refer to our Support Forum? When you sign up for a user account on our Forum, you can do everything from this users account, including commenting on threads. You will just need to be logged into your Forum account. This account is different from your Yola account. That's how the Support Forum works, but you can also login using your Facebook, Twitter, Google, Microsoft, or Open ID account.

When I first created the website the Header/Banner "Jill Case Resume" was in a script font, I don't remember the exact name. When I went in recently to edit the body of the text on various pages the script on the Header changed to a lowly Arial or something. I tried to make the changes in the Designer thingy but nothing would 'take'.

In the grand scheme of things, not a biggie but it is a bit maddening for nothing would work when I made attempts to change it.

Thank you for the clarification on the editor issue and quick response.

Hi Jill,

The Style Designer does include script fonts. When changes aren't "sticking" as you mentioned it's usually due to inline formatting as Stefan explained above.

We could take a look at this for you if you reply with your website address.
