Pointing @.contactjones.tk and www.contactjones.tk to 208.75.208.172 will NOT work for its subdomains.

Go to Dot.tk>login>my domains>contactjones.tk-modify>add new hostname

enter "support" for the hostname and 208.75.208.172 as IP.
Create another hostname, and do above task again for "www.support" hostname.

Post here if you have any probs.

Hi James, I saw your contact james website made with yola, for one, why is the "Make a free website with yola" so BIG? And there is a pop up box when you hover over it. If you see mine, www.nathansmusicstudio.cz.cc, it is a lot smaller, also how did you get the mouse pointer? Its cool!

Here's a snap shot:

They haven't responded because they aren't on right now. They are probably getting on pretty soon. I will email them and let them know.

Hi James,
it seems that you are asking support for your webs.com site, or you have completely misconfigured DNS settings.

Go have a look.

Hello James

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up your subdomain with Yola. I've looked up the domain settings and I see that you have the following A records:

A 208.75.208.172 (this one is correct)

A 193.33.61.2
A 209.172.59.196
A 217.119.57.22
A 94.103.151.195

You will need to remove those extraneous A records. Then please follow these steps:

1. You'll need to create two A Records, create one with the name of the subdomain you would like to use (eg. group) and add Yola's IP address (208.75.208.172).
2. On the second A Record, under "Name" add *.name (where name is your subdomain) and the IP address is the same.
3. Your subdomain is then available as www.group.mysite.com and http://group.mysite.com (for example).
4. You will be able to publish a new site to that subdomain by choosing "Use my Domain" when clicking on "Publish to the web".

For more information, we have a tutorial outlining the steps to configuring your domain: Publish to a domain you already own.

Once you've pointed your domain, watch a step-by-step video on how to publish your site using a domain you already own, please see: Publish to an external domain.

Please let me know if you have any further trouble with this.

Me and an employee from dot tk have figured out the problem, for some reason yola is sending it to www.contactjames.tk and www.support.contactjames.tk but dot.tk only supports one level so i cannot change then to contactjames.tk and support.contactjames.tk.

Could you please remove the setting where it goes to www.contactjames.tk and www.support.contactjames.tk

Hey James.. it may just take time for the settings to propagate. I'm going to send an email to a colleague who may be able to know why you're having trouble. Thanks for your patience and I apologize for the delay.

It won't go back to the "www" version unless you unpublish and republish your site. You can easily just send us an email to fix that for you.
