Two months ago when it was synthasite I put a file on my site and it downloaded instantly . It was 35 kg. Now I added two more files and it takes forever to download. It is about 1900 kb. A couple of days ago I got an answer from the Duke and he said that the first file was text and the next two were images. the staff at the library don't think there is any difference. they say a PDF file is a PDF file. Could it be that yola made some changes to the new site?

Hello Daniel,

A 1900 kb file is about fifty times bigger than a 35kb file. It will take longer that's for sure. PDF files can be any size so a larger PDF will take longer to download and view than a PDF file of a smaller file.

A PDF file is an image of sorts. It's actually an image that can be sent to postscript printers for rapid printing.
