HI

Have been working on this for a few days now but with no result. I have a flash banner I would like to show on www.themeparkpost.com. It works perfectly in FF and Chrome, but nothing shows on IE (in any version, I tried it in 8 and 9). Have uploaded the latest flash player version, but again no luck.

There is a lot out there on this problem and I have tried several solutions, but without much luck - here is the code

I cannot paste teh code into the forum as it will run the file, so here is an image of the code.

Anyone help?

Thanks

The reason that your flash file fails to load and play is that you need to replace "http://www.atraxexpo.com" for the movie value with the url to your SWF file

See here for an example:

<!--

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/sh..." width="640" height="480">
<param name="movie" value="resources/yourflashgame.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<embed src="resources/yourflashgame.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflash..." type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="480"></embed>
</object>

-->

The swf file should be listed twice to be cross browser compatible...

Happy site building

Glad that it was as easy as that...

I've been through many a hair pulling night over flash and its effects on my sites other features. Layering flash with transparent objects is both cool as well as nail biting to get right. Come to think of it, I am going to (re)add the flash clouds in my banner's sky background again I think...

Anyway, happy that it worked for you. ;)

Cheers...
