Hi lee,

Could you post a link to a particular page where you are experiencing this problem? I checked the home page and everything displays fine in both browsers for me.

Hi lee,

Could you let me know where you got the code to add the swf file?

We have a post that has more information on adding swf files to your page: http://getsatisfaction.com/SynthaSite.... Please can you check whether you are missing any of the settings described in that post.

its from aleo software flash intro banner maker.i read the article you suggested. Should i just use this code instead? will that allow the links etc. of the object to work correctly (i.e. if you clcik the main it links and if you click the site icon it goes to my site. I dont know if this is from the file or from the html. Thanks in advance

Hi lee,

I just tested your code and made a slight change, this is what it should be:

<!--
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/..." width="499" height="125">
<param name="movie" value="resources/dadsfinalad.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<embed src="resources/dadsfinalad.swf"
quality="high"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
width="500"
height="125"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflash..." />
</object>
-->

I didn't realise that there was a missing link to the swf file (it's listed twice in the code). Can you try again and let me know if it works for you?

I forgot to tell you to ignore <!-- and --> those are there to stop the code from being interpreted :)

There is a delay of a few seconds - I guess it could be affected by the size of the file. Remember to include the folder name if you've put the swf file into a folder - resources/folder/file.swf.
