I wanted to give praise to Yola for their continued progress in making site creation as easy as possible.I am now starting to develop my second product site so I went through the whole process again as I did when Yola was Synthasite.I did this all in just a hair over 30 min.....Bought a premium style....Bought a domain, pointed it to Yola and it propagated the web with me able to visit within about 15 min.Verified and site maps submitted to...Google,Bing and Yahoo....I went ahead and published because I think it is better to get the clock ticking ASAP on getting indexed....Here is the home page of the new site.....http://www.koffykrazy.com/

Hey John

I LOVE your home page - the use of colors, texture - wow! They really speak to your product. It's great!

I'm thankful that you are sharing with us your experience.

Well done, especially for a dead tree! Maybe it's time to start sprouting some leaves there, eh?! =)

From our resident site reviewer, that has to be the shortest site review ever hey John.
She never even picked up on the incorrect spelling of "Koffy" and "Krazy".
Ahh..., the pressures of working for a living ;-) And using my "dead tree" term of endearment for you pff... Hey, I'm kidding with you Lu - I still love you... Mwah.

Hey John, maybe the short review has got something to do with the fact that you only got one bloody page so far man ;-). A home page with a coffee (note spelling) machine on it! .... nice ;-)

Seriously, If what you got so far is any indication of what's to come, you're off to freaking good start buddy. Really classy !! If I remember correctly, you said your brother or brother in law was the one with the coffee shop? Are you doing it for him?

The best compliment I can think of at the moment, is:
"When I look at your home page, I can actually smell coffee"

Looking good....

Hey Boomer....Littleus has called me a dead tree more than you have....her programming may be stuck in a loop.

My brother and his family will be involved in this.I will make and promote the site...We are still looking into who should handle sales. If they handle them in California there would be sales tax to orders within California. If all are my customers we may not have to do that but I am not 100% sure. Each state in the USA is different so we will be talking to a CPA once my brother gets back from vacation.

Thanks for the compliment if I make someone smell coffee then I did my job.I promise that next time I build a site I will use spell check when I choose a name.

Nice site John! I especially like the fact that it took 30 minutes to get it done :)

Looking forward to see that site grow...

Thank you Marije....I do have to add product pages but it isn't a hold up on anything to do with the site builder.

I had noticed many having problems here with new sites.I decided to time and make note of any bumps along the way to getting my site set up....I figured since I have done this a few times maybe I could spot things that might be giving others problems....Everything just worked perfectly though.I do think that not all registrars are created equal. Many seem to get stuck with their site not propagating the web quickly or changing the dns settings may be a royal pain with some registrars.I think it is very courteous of the Yola staff to help with dns settings on what are really competing sites.

Oh and thank Mr Ed for me buying a premium style.I had already been thinking of buying the rounded glass style. When I saw what Ed did with it, that sort of clinched it for me.Seeing a style with a completed page or two really gives you a better idea as to what your own vision will look like.

Some registrars are definitely speedier than others, just one of those things apparently. Some of them are really not user-friendly or willing to assist their customers in pointing their domain to Yola. But that is something we just have to live with right now :)
