I made a site for my job that I would like to save and use in my portfolio. How can I download the site so that I can show it to future employers?

I am no longer authorized to used the site I created because I no longer have the same job. I would like to be able to use the site I created as evidence of my quality of work (and Yola's awesomeness!) in a portfolio.

Hi mikegillespiemusic

If you would like to download your site for your portfolio, you can save each page individually, somewhat like images. If you use this method, you won't be able to navigate between pages, but you will be able to see the pages that you created. I am sure this will work for your purposes.

Is your site still published, if so, then you can do the following:

  1. Go to the home page.

  2. Right-click and select "Save Page As" from the drop-down menu.

  3. Give the file a name and place it in a folder on your computer.

Repeat these steps for each page you would like to save.

Another option is to take a screen shot of each of the pages on your published site and save the screen shots to your computer.

I hope that one of these suggestions will work for you. Let us know if you need more help.
