Hi douglas,

The easiest way to insert an mp3 player is to select widget box from your builder sidebar. Drag the widgetbox icon onto your page and click the link there. This will take you to the widget box main page. You will see a search facility with categories. Select music and you will see a lot of choices.

Select your preference. Fill out the details, get the code and paste it back into the widget box dialogue box which has remained opened.

Your set!

hi peter i have tried these options and although some seem to work a few of my friends have not been able to listen to what has been added, i felt that windows media player was a better platform as most people would have this on their computer....

Hi Douglas

Here is a simple alternative:
1. Drag and drop a file widget onto your page from the sidebar on the right (the icon for this looks like a computer disk).
2. A dialog box will open and you can choose to browse your computer for the file you want to upload or choose an already uploaded image.
3. When you click "OK" a link to your file will automatically be created. To test that it is working, save and preview your page.

People will then be able to click on your link play your MP3.

If you don't select a player and simply select a music file from your file manager it will play on the systems default player.
To do this you select the file icon from the sidebar (looks like a floppy diskette) then it will take you into the File Manger. select your music file and your OK. You will notice a speaker icon appear on your page.

I have one on a test site and it works quite well.

Can you do this on a test page for me and send me the URL? I would like to see if the MP3 plays in Windows Media Player on my Windows machine.

Yes mp3's play in Windows Media player. You have to selct this player as the default for mp3's.

Right click an mp3 file. Scroll down the list to play with and select the Windows Media player.

This doesn't determine what player will be selected by your users however.
