Wow that' s a lot of text. I wonder if you could explain about where the text issue is as I have looked but with as much as is there It is hard to find.

Not to mention it's hard to find invisible text. LOL

Hi painkiller,

Would you mind letting us know exactly where the text issue is? Perhaps tell us which line the problem starts on - there's a lot of text to go through.

Hi Marije
As i open IE and view it...its apparent straight away without having to search right through. However...i just opened it in Firefox and its fine with that browser :?

Pretty weird my friend as IE is the only one it has issues with. I took the snapshots and then pasted them to paint and then went back to your page and it was okay again...

Hmmm maybe someone else can answer this...

It does this throughout the entire page. One second it is there and then you can highlight some of it and it reverts to normal again. One second the text is all messed up and then go to another screen and return again and it's normal.

Boy I sure hope you backed up and downloaded your site because I sure would hate to see you loose such hard work...

If the company reps cannot find fault in your site then just a thought for you...

I know for a fact that my IE is funky because there is a error or bug in my system due to a missing file and I know this is 100% the case. Sadly there is nothing that I can do but a full re-install of window because IE updates don't work and the missing files program can't repair it. I can't use IE to surf certain sites because certain things don't work and any java buttons or features are unresponsive and faulty as well.

So what I propose is a little test to see if it happens to be something similar in your computer as well. If you can go to my site and mouse over the playhouse and if it doesn't enlarge to fill the screen then you may have some settings with your IE off as well. As well mouse over my red buttons and see if they change color when you do.

I have never gotten the text issue before but as you and I both see it I am just trying to think outside the box...

Wish you luck...

Ed

I wonder if you used Microsoft Word to do you editing?

Its not because you have copied it from notepad is it ?
I have problems myself when doing this and have had to transfer it to a word doc then copy and paste from there and its worked fine.
Just a thought maybe worth a try

I hate to contradict you ethan0904, but copying from Notepad is much preferable to copying and pasting from Word. Word can cause serious formatting problems.

mmm.. i have a feeling ethan may be somewhere along the right track. On my notepad/text file much of it has been copied and pasted at sometime. All the text is not to the hard left margin if you get my meaning.Maybe some of these white squares*?? which are there but nothing(hard to describe but hopefully you`ll get my drift). In fact i was looking for a way to re-arrange my txt file so these blanc spaces dissapear....maybe ?

I have to agree with Ruth everyone.

As you have more than likely seen my site and the amount of text I have you should know that it was all done with Notepad and Wordpad. Without fail every time I used Word I would get errors or glitches in my IE site review.

You can type it all in Word then "select all" and "copy" then "paste" into Notepad then "Select all" then "copy" and then "paste" into your sites text widget. It is a long process but I have done so this entire time and never, not once had issues arise.

painkiller I think you could benefit from a two column widget and then drag your text widgets into the right side then slide the center divider to just to the right of the left side of your screen. This would ensure that all your text is always in view and allow a space to the left.

Just a thought...

Boy I bet your fingers are tired after all that typing. ;)

I always say... When in doubt listen to the Reps because they know more than all of us..

Where do you think I learned much of what I know Ethan? Answer... Ruth, Monique, Marije and if they don't know it then there are dozens of great people behind the scenes to help them along.

P.S. I learned about the Wordpad and Notepad work around from Monique quite some time ago and it served me well all this time. ;)
