The recent updates to the Yola interface have greatly improved the speed, look, and general usability of the site. Signing in and uploading files are especially quick now. Thanks so much!

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for the feedback! We have been working on making things faster (among other things in the background) and I'm glad to hear it's been noticed.

I would second that Kyle. The only thing I don't like about uploading files in File Manager is when transferring multiple files from sub-folders. After each individual file transfer from the Yola File Manager to the website, it automatically goes back to the root folder. It is quite boring and time consuming having to go though the sub-folder tree each time you upload a file. I think it would be much better if File Manager remembered which sub-folder you are working in.

Hi Claire - you can upload files to a particular folder. Here's how:

1. Click on the File Manager button and go to the specific folder.
2. Click on "Upload files" to upload your files and they will be uploaded to that specific folder.

I hope that helps!

Hi Marije - sorry I did not explain myself well. Let me give an example to try to clarify. Typically I will create a number of folders in Yola File Manager so that I can organise my files. I will label these say Folder 1, Folder 2, Folder 3....etc). I will then upload files from my computer into each folder. This is an easy process as a bulk of files can be selected and uploaded together. This is a great feature of Yola. I will then transfer these files onto my website using the File Widget. This will only allow me to transfer one file at a time, which is a bit of a bother. What I find worse though, is that if I am transferring a lot of files from say Folder 2, using the File Widget, the program automatically reverts to the root directory after each file transfer. This means it is necessary to open up Folder 2 after each file transfer. I feel it would be better if the program remembered that it was Folder 2 being worked on and Folder 2 was automatically opened up instead of the root directory. The situation is even worse when I create sub folders or sub-sub folders eg Folder 2/Sub-Folder C/Sub-Sub Folder d. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the clarification Claire! I'll be sure to pass this onto our development team for future consideration. Keep those ideas coming! We always appreciate hearing how we can improve our services and product.
