Hello again Yola Staff!

Having been very busy over the past few weeks I haven't had time lately to visit the fourm, etc... However yesterday I notcied that there are more 'styles' available for any user to chose, and there are a couple that are for sale.

Now I am keen to purchase the 'Rounded Glass' Premium Style but am hesitant as I would like to know how often this will be updated. I wouldn't want to spend $30 now, and find out next week that 2-3 more pages of different templates have been added.

Any ideas?

Thanks people!

Lee

Hi Lee

The premium style collection we have released is our introductory selection. We will be adding many more in the near future. We want to grow our collection of both free and premium styles continually.

You do have the option to try out a premium style for free, but you have to pay at the time that you publish. If you are unsure, then I recommend this option for now, although I have to say, I am quite a fan of the Rounded Glass style, so I would also be tempted :)

I lovet he ide of trying out the website. I have been doing that for the past couple of hours just to get a feel for the site and how my information look on it.

The only issue I have and maybe this is beyond your control but I just changed the banner image on the Rounded Glass style website to one with a logo of my cricket club. I applied this to all pages but when I view it in the preview window and jump from page to page, the actual logo reloads on each page. I was under the impression that the banner, if kept the same on all pages, wouldn't have to reload each time you click on a new page. It kinda loses the sharpness of the website slightly.

Am I making any sense? LOL

Thanks Monique

I will have to ask the developers about this one. Make sure your banner image is optimized for the web so that it loads as quickly as possible, and I will find out if there is anything that can be done to improve it from our side.

What would you say is the best way to save a banner as for the web so it loads as quickly as possible: jpg, png file etc...

Hi there Lee - I would say .jpg or .gif for your banner - here is a great article on the two formats. http://www.sitepoint.com/article/gif-...
I hope this helps.
