Hi, I just wanted to post this for all the people who are frustrated with the Google Webmaster tool and cannot seem to be able to be verified by Google...
There is a part in the Meta tag from Google that looks like this...
="vOMrwptHvKep6tq6fji422wbyvMwaecl="
or similar, exclude the meta, arrows, first equal sign, first parenthesis and last parenthesis (and anything else besides the following)
vOMrwptHvKep6tq6fji422wbyvMwaecl=
(As shown typed above) Copy it as shown... Be ready to paste it...
Now go to the Properties Tab in Yola on the Content Sidebar, find GOOGLE WEBMASTER CODE, place the voMrwptHvKep etc... here. It does not go in the body of your webpage between the head tag as Google suggests...
Last after pasting the code in the the Google Webmaster code box, Make sure you save the page correctly, choose Update My Site... NOTE: Sometimes after you have pasted the code into the box you have to CLICK on the words GOOGLE WEBMASTER CODE for Yola to know that you've added something to that box... 2nd Note: If you paste the code and immediately press the Update My Site button instead of Save Yola should ask you if you want to save the changes you've made if it doesn't you haven't changed anything... If you are getting the we cannot find the meta tag error make sure as soon as you open the Properties Toolbar to fix the issue you see the code pasted there, I found that I had pasted it there but when I came back it was blank... Make sure you save it correctly...
