Think Before You Leap!

I feared the worst with this one!

Wanted to get insight about different entry pages on my new site, so created an index-alt page for a google optimizer test. Live and learn! Fickle me, novice me, impulsive me should have done this later on, once my site was up and running for a bit. And the big thing, [blushing cheeks] I did not read all the fine print, so when my site started behaving badly after I started tweaking the style today, I got sweaty palms and heart palps! Not a good feeling by the way!

Tips to save you from doing the same craziness:
~ Relax and let things just be for a couple of days once you have created a new website...a couple of weeks is even better if you can stand it!
~ Read the 'fine print' about anything you are attempting to do...especially if you are not quite sure about what you are doing!
~ Ask here on the forum if anyone has had experience about the 'xyz' of what you are about to try(I should have)!
~ To re-create an index page (vital to how your site works) I started a new page, named it index and smarty-pants Synthasite asked me if I wanted to overwrite that file. Hello...YES!

I am now coming down from the cool glass of wine definitely helped :) So morale of the story (think I've heard this someplace :)...THINK BEFORE YOU LEAP!

I really like your site. One question though, do you own all those shops?
