Third Party Domain ????

Hi, i again registered a third party domain (www.postnetthreerivers.co.za) that is pointed to Yola now for nearly a week, but it still does not pick it up. Can you perhaps just check from your side if there is any problems?

Hello Paul,

It seems that you have 4 a records setup for this domain. Two of them pointed correctly for Yola (184.72.229.176) and an additional 2 (41.76.214.143 pointed to kowalski.aserv.co.za) which need to be deleted.

i have a third party domain http://www.pikengraaf.co.za which i wish to link to http://www.pikengraafhuisdienste.yola... - but for some reason it does not want to work. When I enter www.pikengraaf.co.za in google, it clearly shows that is is pointing to yola. Help>????

I cannot get third party domain to link with yola. www.pikengraaf.co.za to www.pikengraafhuisdienste.yolasite.com = it keeps on telling me that the 3rd party domain is not pointed to yola, when in fact it is. I have been battling with this now for nearly two days....please, this is VERY frustrating

Now I'm a bit confused: Is your question about domain pointing or SEO? I've checked your domain settings again, and now the one A record is correct, but the record for "www" still isn't correctly pointing to our IP address. Can you please check the A record for www in the account with your other registrar and make sure it just points to 184.72.229.176?

And could you explain to me again what you mean by picking up your domain Google search? As long as no site has been published to your domain, there will be no search results in Google for your domain name.

Domain settings can take up to 48 hours to propagate on the internet. As you had to correct your settings, please wait until this time is over, and let us know, should time not resolve the issue.

Our engineers have come back to me to say that there doesn't seem to be a technical problem on our end.

The data you posted above looks like wrong settings were added to your domain settings with your other provider. Unfortunately we cannot assist you with your other account. Please contact their Support to check that there are just two A records which point to Yola, and that everything is correctly configured as outlined in our tutorial Publish to a domain you already own. Please let me know what your provider's support replies to you.
