Third-Party Domain Name Unable To Point To Yola Website

I have a domain name on fasthosts.co.uk that I want to point to my Yola domain. However, they require 2 unique nameservers to enable this. Yola doesn't have nameservers, and fasthosts don't accept a bare IP address. How can I get my domain to point to Yola?

Hello Andrew,

If the DNS facility doesn't allow this then a third party solution may work: ZoneEdit was the go some time back but I haven't followed if it still offers this.

Yola have a tutorial showing the procedure: Using ZoneEdit for domain name management

Hi Gop,

Thanks for the reply. Fortunately, I was able to find out how to do it through this forum and the fasthosts website. You add an A record in the Advanced DNS section of the website. I was confused because there were already records in there. Once I added the two A records, the domain worked straight away.
