I need to know... YOU as a visitor to someone else's site... is a "full page" ad annoying even if it's got an easy to click "skip this ad" button that takes you directly to the site? Should I get rid of full page ads?

Personal opinion: Yes, full paged ads are annoying. Any extra clicks I have to make on a site in order to get to the information I want are a source of irritation. My advice would be to avoid full page ads or pop-ups. Anything that interferes with your visitor's navigation on your site. . .

Hi Donald

In my opinion, I do find it annoying because I am there to look at the contents of your site not at some ad. I understand the need for some to have ads as this helps to generate income.

I believe this can be achieved successfully by having unobtrusive ads and placing them so that they seem a part of your site.

Not sure....I see major sites use them but that is the first thing you see then you get to their home page.

ok, I'll get rid of them... although they do generally pay $0.01 per impression. (with a high traffic rate, that can add up) but I agree... they can be annoying, I never did like them... snagajob.com (an american job board) has them every two to five screens and one day, I got so mad I had to quit job hunting lol
