Im trying to select tight tiles in my image gallery. Ive uploaded 3 images, then I edit to change the style/format, then select tight 'tight tiles', the mesage then reads saving, but does nothing. Am I doing something incorrectly, for tight tiles, can I use 3 pictures, or do I need more, why wont it work? Very frustrating.... Ally

Hi Ally

You can choose the tight tiles style for any amount of pictures that your Picture Gallery has, it should even work for one picture.

I logged into your Yola account to check if there are any general problems, but I could not find any. I was able to add a picture gallery using your uploaded picture and change the style to "tight tiles" quickly (don't worry, I have deleted all my test widgets again :-)).

When I look at your products page, I can see that two galleries with tight tiles style have successfully been added to the page. So it must have worked out for you at some stage. Can you see these two galleries in your browser, too?

There is two suggestions that might solve your problem:

  1. Please remember not to upload pictures which are very large. I saw that you have picture between 1 and 3MB in your account. Large pictures can cause your pages slow to load when you use them in your Sitebuilder and when your visitors open your website. The ideal size is between 20 and 100KB per picture per page depending on the total amount of pictures per page.

  2. Please also try these steps:

  3. Try loading the site on a different computer or network to see if you experience the same speed issues.

  4. Check to see if you are having problems with your network or internet service provider.

  5. Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.

  6. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.

  7. Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: Enable Javascript.

  8. Try loading the site in a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer).

If none of these suggestions solves the problem, please let me know.
