Too many redirects after changing URL with an upgrade

Hi- I've recently upgraded my school related site so I could secure a .org address. However, I'm having major problems. The site is not accessible often and this is AFTER clearing cookies and cache. I operate in Safari on a Mac, all updated. Now my readers can't access the site. We are all getting 'too many redirects' & can't open page in multiple browsers. So even after I've cleared my cache, why won't it work?? Yola is saying it's my problem. Please help!

Hi Stefan. Thanks for the reply. I am able to view all pages in Safari after clearing the cache, however, in another browser I still can't (Chrome). I have cleared the cache and all data, yet still am being redirected. Why is this? It's ok in Firefox, but I don't expect many viewer use that browser as a default.

I ask because I will be asked by viewers how to see the site, as they will all have to clear their data & cache as well before seeing with the new URL, correct?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Ellen

Our engineers have responded to me that they were unfortunately unable to replicate this issue. They were using Chrome, and when they check the developer tools, there is no problem. Right now it seems that this was an intermittent problem. Can you please check for me if this problem is persisting on your end? Or you could check again in Incognito Mode and clear cache again?

Let me know how that goes, and if the problem cannot be sorted on your side, please let me know, and we will investigate further.

Hello,

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I'm am having the same exact problem with my new site: www.lifecycleprints.com. I've tried a number of times to clear cookies and cache. I have tried accessing via chrome an firefox--same issue. My site loads a few pages, then as I select another tab, I get the error message. I can't move foward with SEO and promoting my site until this is resolved. Please attend to Ellen's issues first. As I was looking for a solution, I noticed this and a number of other threads with similar issues.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I am having this exact problem as well. Only some pages of my site will open – never the same ones always random ones. I have cleared the cache, deleted cookies, republished the site, but the problem persists.

I am using Chrome on Mac, but I have tried it in Safari on Mac, plus Chrome on PC and I have the same issue.

Can you help on your end?

Thanks!

Hello Gareth

I've brought this to our engineers' attention. However, it seems to happen very intermittently. This morning I wasn't able to replicate the error, a couple of hours later I was. I will keep you updated.
