Can some of you guys help me out by going to my website - http://jtylersarticles.org - and like it with google, facebook, or twitter? I've been trying to get traffic up for a while, but I still get less than 30 views a day.

Also, I've submitted my sites to directories, made some pretty good backlinks, used Google Webmaster tools, and more. Can you guys give me some more ideas? Thanks.

The first thing you are missing is very important . . .You need to have good window/page titles for each page on your site. You do want your site name on each page as you have but it is missing any description of what is on that page. This is what gives search bots their first clue as to what a page is about. Limit this to 70 characters including spaces.

Hi John
Following on from the comments from KanThaiDecor here is an analysis of your meta tags

Your description has 199 characters which is far to long, as mentioned above, about 70 is right because google will truncate it so no one will be able to read the full description anyway.
You also have far to many keywords which are only 45% relevant to your page content.
Lastly and please don't take offence as I genuinely want to help but your home page looked dull, it would, I think, benefit from a bit of colour and some images.

Thanks for the suggestions. I changed the description to 77 characters. I'll change the keywords soon, I suppose, but I don't know why they say it's only 45% relevant.

As to the looks, I'll mess around with a few different themes and stuff. What do you think of the theme I'm using right now?

What they are looking for is how well your page title, meta description and key words/phrases relate to the content of your page. The better it relates the better search engines like it. . . .Content is still king on the web so ALL the above is derived from the content on a given page. The reason to limit titles, meta descriptions and keywords is that if you go overboard search bots will consider you spam and that will harm your site.
