Thayana, please be patient. Domain transfers can take up to 7 days. If you have already gotten a email from yola or your previous registrar that says the transfer has been completed, there might be a problem. If that is the case, I hope yola personnel will be able to help you.

Sincerely,
Kevin

Hello Thayana,

Actually, it can take up to 12 days for the transfer to complete. If you could let us know the domain name, we can take a look to ensure that the domain transfer has been correctly initiated.

Thayana, I see the domain is already pointing to yola. Just follow these steps:

1 .Log into your account and open your site in the Sitebuilder.

2. If your site is unpublished, click on "Publish to the web" and then choose "I already own my domain name". Follow the steps until your site is published.

3. If your site is published to a subdomain, click on the down-arrow next to "Publish to the web" to open the Publishing Settings and publish your site to a domain you already own.

Sincerely,
Kevin

wait. nevermind. The little green down arrow is gone.

Thayana: Sanja will have to answer this.

Sanja: Yola needs to update the pointing page.

Hmmm. A yola employee will have to help you with that. I'm only a customer. Sorry if this causes any inconvience.

Sincerely,
Kevin

Hi Thayana,

Thanks for posting your domain name. I didn't realize that you were simply pointing your domain to Yola. I thought you were transferring your domain to Yola so that we are your domain registrar. My apologies for the confusion. In light of this realization, the information I have given you above will not apply.

In order to use your domain then, you need to have a Silver subscription as this includes the domain pointing feature. Once you have Silver, please see these instructions:

If your site is not published to a subdomain:
1. Click on "Publish to the web"
2. Select "I already own my domain name" and then "Next step".
3. Enter your domain name and follow the prompts to publish your site.

If your site is already published to another domain name you can publish it by:
1. Go to MyYola
2. Go to Domains
3. Click on "Want to keep your domain registered with another registrar?"
4. Enter domain name
5. Select which site you want to use this domain for.
6. Click on "Add"

If your domain is pointing to Yola correctly, it will say "Successfully registered your 3rd party domain with Yola". If your domain now redirects to your subdomain, please follow the steps on this link to make that change.

Please let us know if you have any troubles with this.

Hello Thanyana,

I'm sorry but you will need to upgrade to Silver if you wish to keep your domain with your current registrar.

If you email support@yola.com, we can maybe try to work something out.
