OK, I did a domain transfer and the old website is still coming up with that domain. I need the yola site I made to come up.

The domain is... www.sweethomehopecenter.com

Hello Timothy

Did you transfer your domain name just now? It takes about 10-12 days to complete the transfer. When did you start the transfer process?

I'm hoping that we get this problem solved!

Sincerely,
Nathan

I did the transfer yesterday. I was able to get on my yola site using www.sweethomehopecenter.yolasite.com and I cant even do that now. Its just strange that its the old site coming up.

Hello Timothy,
The full transfer can take up to 12 days to complete and because this domain (the one being transferred) is currently listed in your account as the primary domain for the site, this is why even the yolasite.com subodmain is redirecting to the other domain. Until the transfer is complete, you can switch back to having your yolasite.com subdomain as the primary domain. Here is a link with info on how to do this: Setting a primary domain. Please let us know if you have any trouble with this.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

You may want to flush your DNS cache, especially if the transfer doesn't happen in 10-12 days. I've seen the transfer happen sooner, so it's worth a try!
start > run > type: cmd (brings up DOS window) > type: ipconfig /flushdns

Hi Julie

Did you mean Command Prompt? I just went to Command Prompt and typed in ipconfig/flushdns and hit enter and then it said successfully cleared DNS Resolver Cache.

Thanks for the suggestion, Julie!

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hello Timothy

Are you able to change the primary to your subdomain? Your domain is still being transferred which is why you're still seeing your old site. If you go to your "My Yola", beside your site, click on "advanced settings" and then beside your yola subdomain, select "make primary". Can you please give this a try?

Worked! Thank you! Now I can share what I've made before the transfer is complete! Once the transfer is complete I just switch it back and all will be well correct?

Great to hear, Timothy! Yes - you can share your subdomain URL. When the transfer is complete, then you can switch it back.
