I'm doing some testing, and I just want to know if it is possible to make the white 'body' of my website that holds the content can be turned from white to transparent.

(Of course, I wouldn't be using the current background with the transparency.)

Hi Michael,

This is possible. If you have Yola Silver, just add this to your Custom CSS:

div.layout div.content{
background: transparent;
margin:0 35px;
}

If you don't have Yola Silver, just add this to all of your pages:

<style type="text/css">
div.layout div.content{
background: transparent;
margin:0 35px;
}
</style>

By the way, I really like your site! Especially the menu, scrollbar and background. You are doing very good on your site :)

Kind regards,
Nathan

I made a stupid mistake when trying to do it myself - forgot to close the CSS line with a bracket. Thanks for showing me that.

Also, thanks for the compliment! The website is a product of two years of self teaching myself HTML and Javascript. ...and a little inspiration from Apple's design methods.

I see on your website 'weebuild' that you have perhaps conjured some inspiration from me with the Ubuntu Google Web Font? Haha anyway, I was thinking that we could make a great team when it comes to weebuild. (I'm starting to offer my services via mike.552industries.com)

Contact me via Kr3m1in@552industries.com and perhaps we can work together on some projects together.

No problem! :) And, yeah, I did notice your menu looks like Apple's a little. Apple's styles really are neat. I tend to get ideas from Apple's site too.

I am emailing you right now.

Sincerely,
Nathan
