I followed the instructions about embedding a pdf on a blank page but I got this widget instead. What's up?

May you share you code that you use to embed the pdf document? There may be a problem or just a minor typo or something. I did try to help someone with embeding pdf files before and I believe we got that worked out.

Hi Claudia,

I replied to the other post that you made on this post If you would like the PDF to be embedded so that it displays as a page on your webpage. You will need the necessary plugin installed on your browser (usually Acrobat Reader) in order for it to display. Could you let us know what browser you are using - Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3 etc.

If you would like the PDF to be displayed as a file that people can click and download from your page, then these instructions will help:

1) Drag and drop a file widget onto your page from the sidebar on the right (the icon for this looks like a computer disk)
2) Browse your desktop for a file to upload
3) When you click "ok" a link to your file will automatically be created. To test that it is working, save and preview your page.

People will then be able to click on your link and download your MS Word file, PDF, Powerpoint presentation, spreadsheet or whatever file you elect to upload.
