Why don't you add your domain in Yola ?

In site builder ,
go to publishing settings and change your custom domain to theinkdr.com.
Then , drop an email to yola support , asking to change primary domain to theinkdr.com

it should solve the problem.

Although you point your domain to yola IP , how yola know whom site should show ?

Hello Jonathan

Thank you for sharing your URL. When I looked up your domain settings, you have 2 sets of A records. One is pointing to Yola and the other is pointing to: 64.202.189.170

You will need to delete the A record that is pointing to 64.202.189.170.

Please make sure you have 2 A records set up to point to Yola. If you would like your domain to work correctly with the "www" prefix you need to make sure that your DNS settings are configured correctly to support the "www" prefix. For this you need to set up two A-records:

* Some domain registrars require one A Record with the hostname "@" and one with the hostname "www".
* Other domain registrars allow you to create one hostname called "domain.com" and another "www" (replace "domain" with your own address).
* Both should point to our IP address: 208.75.208.172.

For more information on pointing your domain to Yola, click on this link.

Please let me know if you have any further trouble with this.

Without actually having gone in and changing the A settings on purpose how does changing it now fix the problem when it worked fine for the past as it was?

It was just brought to my attention that no one is able to access my site, even when they type the address in directly. It was working fine recently.
What is the issue and how do I fix it?

Hello,
I have taken a look and it does not look like this is a registered domain so that is why it is not publishing. Did you try to purchase this from another registrar?

Hello,
Yes, now I see the issue. Your site is published to http://gamehunterfimlz.biz/ and that site is live, so the problem was the misspelling of the domain name. It is generally not our policy to refund domain purchases as we have incurred the cost with our domain partner. Can you please email us at support@yola.com and we can forward your request to our payments department. Thank you!

Hello Jonathan,
I think Yola has no way to fix this(unfortunately).
It's the nature of domain system ruled by ICANN and IANA. So the better way is purchasing the correct domain.

Hello Jolandie - your site is not working because the domain is pointing to the wrong IP address. You can find out more information on this link: http://www.yola.com/blog/recent-yola-.... We did send emails to all people who were pointing their domains to Yola to advise them to update their domain DNS but perhaps you didn't receive the email?

Please change the IP address from 208.75.208.172 to 184.72.229.176 and your site will available again.
