Tumblr widget not showing post updates

I recently made some updates to a bunch of my previous tumblr posts and now the widget is not updating these posts, and is just showing a blank box for each of the updated posts.

I'm using Firefox 24.0, I've tried clearing my cache, reinstalling the widget, re-publishing the site, re-freshing pages and even re-editing/saving a tumblr post. Any other ideas?

My widget can viewed at http://www.lovelytocu.com/freebies.php and my tumblr is http://lovelytocu.tumblr.com/

Hi Shawnna,

First of all, very cute site and darling graphics! I'm so sorry about the blank posts at the bottom though. The troubleshooting you've described is exactly what we would suggest. Republishing your website would usually sort it out and if not, removing and dropping the widget again should definitely do the trick! As those aren't working for you I was wondering if you could tell me more about the updates you made. As much detail as you can provide will be useful in helping to troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks, I simply replaced the images from those posts with a lower resolution version to speed up page loading. I've previously made text changes to older posts to correct download links or update a post status with no issue, so not sure why the images are a problem. It seems to be working fine at the tumblr end?

Hello Shawnna

I've found out that this issue only happens to your image posts. Your text posts, even if they include images, all display fine. I was able to replicate this error with my own Tumblr account, and I've brought it to our engineers' attention.

I also noticed that this problem just occurs with selecting the first Layout display option in your Tumblr Widget on Yola. If you switch to the second option, the images of your image posts will display. However, it will mess a little with the layout on your Yola website if you have added captions to your images. Maybe you could use this as a workaround until I can let know about what we can do to fix this error.

We will keep you updated on this thread.

Thanks, glad to have a work around! It's not ideal, but not horrible either so hopefully it's an easy fix for the engineers at some point :)
