Hi there,

Which twitter widget are you using.

The ones under the social category in the site builder are not to show your tweets but allow people to tweet about your site.

If you would like to display tweets please try this:

the code that is output place in a html widget in the desired locating

Hope this helps.

Thanks, John!

Yes, Contact, if you could please clarify which widget method of incorporating Twitter you are using, that would be very helpful. Also, please share your domain with us so that we can look into this further. Thanks!

hello thanks for your replies. i have not included my website's link as the widgets would not save on the pages once i had pressed get widget so there was nothing to show

i have tried to use the twitter badge under widget collection > widget box gallery > social networks > twitter badge

and the widget under

widget collection > widget box gallery > social networks > Social feed widget.

both designed to show your tweets....

John, i'm aware i can add the twitter widget by html using the method you suggested so thanks a lot for that :() i did paste it in but it wouldn't line up nicely so i am even more frustrated that i couldn't just use the gadgets which are supposed to be draggable and workable.....

i look forward to hearing from you brianna

thanks again

Hi chocolatefairycatering,

If you are using a Twitter or social feed and are not seeing it feed in your Sitebuilder, Could you try viewing it in "Preview" mode and let us know what you see?

Hi Justine and thanks for your response. as per my response above I drag the widget in select twitter badge, add my user name, the preview box within the gadget dies not load but I still press the green get widget button but the widget never loads onto the page so you can't even view it in the sites preview mode.

I deleted by history cookies and cache and waited 2 hours for the preview gadget to load before I pressed get widget a one point and still no joy ....

Hi Becky,

I'm wondering if you could please try updating your Flash and Java to see if this helps as well as using a different browser.

If the problem still persists, could you please share your URL so that we can take a look at this?

Hi, Becky,

It is possible the Twitter Badge has been changed or deleted by the person who uploaded it. The WidgetBox gallery widgets are all third-party apps that can come and go without warning. This is something beyond our control.

I would suggest using our own Twitter button which can be found under the Social Category on the right -side bar in the Sitebuilder. I hope this will be a suitable substitute.

I'm not buying that, the app is clearly there

And uncanny all of a sudden both twitter gadgets aren't working?

The twitter button you suggested using does not in anyway substitute what I am trying to do!

Has anyone even tried to recreate what I'm seeing? I doubt it ....

Hello Becky,

You can also try going directly to Widgetbox and seeing if you are able to pull up a Twitter application here: You can copy the HTML code and paste into an HTML Widget.

Alternatively, you may want to look at this tutorial about adding a Twitter Badge to your site.

I hope that helps!
