If you need support from Yola please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
Logging on to a site from two points of origin at once: Sometimes when my sister and I log on to her account using her account info, we are not able to view changes to the work in progress when they are published. Is this because we are on different servers, and is there a work-around?
It is not advisable to edit the same site from two sessions at the same time as this can result in logical errors. We are putting some safe guards in place to help with this. However, as soon as changes are published you should both be able to view these changes. If not, it is probably because an old version of the site is cached in your browser. Clicking "refresh" should cause the most up to date version of the site to display.
This sounds like a loading problem in the editor - not with browser cache on your live site. I am going to ask someone to look into this today. However the following might speed up the process:
1) Log into your account and open your treehouse site (to a page that loads successfully)
2) Click on the "Help" menu
3) Click "report bug" - fill in the form and send it to us
For most things we prefer you to use Get Satisfaction, but when you report a bug in this manner we get some additional bug tracking info in the report that allows us to isolate the problem more efficiently.
If there are still issues with the Redplanet style we want to get to the bottom of it as soon as possible.
