Hi Didi,

Invalid component errors are usually caused when invalid code is added to the page. For more on this issue and on steps to resolve it, please refer to the following tutorial- http://www.yola.com/tutorials/site-no...

If you are unable to resolve this issue, please us now.

Forgive my shouting... but I'm really frustrated. I spend too many hours of my day, trying to resolve Yola problems.. and it's really starting to get to me. I am not blaming you guys at customer service. I repeat, I think you're terrific.
But the tech(s) department - leaves me scratching my head, big time.

Hi Kershnee. I downloaded the 'Tidy' software and Tidied ALL my pages and posts. I ALSO transferred my word post to Notepad etc..

What is still happening: Same HTML errors popping up.. and when I bypass them.. I can post BUT, ONLY the TITLE shows up on my preview page.. and ALL MY OTHER POSTS on the page... disappear!!!!!! And I'm unable to UPDATE my SITE!

Hi Didi,

When I look at the first post on your home page, I can see that there is still MS Word code. If you open the blog post and the click on the HTML button, you will see the code that I'm talking about.

I would suggest that you copy the text, delete it all from the blog post, click on the HTML button to make sure all of the code is deleted and then paste the stripped text back into your blog post.

I can see that you've also sent an email to us. I'll reply to that one too with this information.

Hi Didi,

I'm replying to the comment you've made above down here (I need to post a screenshot).

I don't think we answered your question about only the title showing up on the page. This is because this setting has been enabled. If you click on "Edit" on the blog post widget, you will get this dialog box:

If the third option is selected, then only the title will display. If you would like to change this, click on one of the other options

I also see this code on your page, above the Google Ads:
<!--
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/s/link-en...>
</script>
<noscript>
<img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/s/noscrip..." alt="" />
</noscript>
-->

I think there is something missing from this code - can you check the place where you got it to make sure?

What other issues are affecting you? I know about the Disqus code that we helped you with in Support. Pasting from MS Word is a known issue across the internet and does not affect Yola only. We're aware that we need to make it more prominent that there are problems if you paste from MS Word and this is something we're working on. If there are other things that are not working for you, please let us know, we'd like to find out what they are.

I've done everything you suggested TWICE - just now.. My edit command is set at show 5 posts... etc.. has been forever. But - although the page looked fine.. It was fine for 10 seconds... and then popped right back to erasing all my other posts... and the new post only shows the title.. The rest of the page is BLANK.

The Google ads come from google adsense, so there's nothing I can do about that. They change it regularily so that should be replaced within a couple of hours, I imagine. I'll delete the Amazon ads once the posting issue is resolved.

I can't afford to lose all my posts.

Hi Didi... it may take a bit of time. I know you've been patient. I'm sorry that a solution is not quickly coming. Can you please clarify what exactly is the problem that is going on in your site?

You cannot make any posts in your site builder? What browser are you using? Can you try adding a post through a different browser to see if this makes any difference? Yola works best with Firefox which is free to download: http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/fi...

Thanks Littleus,
Didi - I have been looking at your site and it seems there is still a fair amount of MS Word formatting in your blog posts. This MS Word formatting could be what is causing a lot of your problems with posting and editing your blog.
I would suggest cutting and pasting this text into Notepad and then from there to your blog and then see if this helps with your problems.

Kind regards, Jeremy

Good catch Jeremy! I'm confident that the MS wording is most likely the culprit of why there's trouble!

Didi, I would encourage you to follow Jeremy's suggestion to copy and paste all your text into Notepad then copy & paste back into your post. I know it's probably a big pain in the butt to do all that work, but it'll be well worth it once your site runs smoothly again. ~ Littleus

Thanks Jeremy: But I can't because when I try to preview my page after editing anything or removing anything: None of my other posts show! And all that does show is the TITLE of my new post. That's it.
Otherwise I'd change every single post I have from ALL my pages and repost GLADLY!!!
But I can't!!

Forgive the dlay in my reply.. I was working on something else.

Regards and again thanks for your input.
Much appreciated. I'm going to eat some chocolate ice cream to soothe my anxiety lol.

Till next time

Hi Didi... I'm sure this is something you have done.. but I just wanted to re-iterate. =)

Be sure that you not only indicate how many posts to display, but that you also indicate if want your posts to be expanded.

Also... can you try something for me? Can you create a new blog page and then copy the text from one of your posts and paste into Notepad. Then copy & paste into your new blog page? Perhaps you can do this for a few of your posts. Then, try to preview it and see if this improves your situation?
