SERIOUSLY NEED HELP HERE....
I am trying to purchase Yola mail, and my credit card was declined, many times. The card is good, I verified this with the company, and from what I am reading in the forum here...it is a YOLA issue. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon??
How can I get the email if Yola is not accepting anything? I tried paying with credit card through paypal as well, NO LUCK there either.

As stated below, it states that is we buy a domain from Yola, we get a free email address, does this include a purchase of the Silver Package?? I purchased my Silver Package back in November or December 2010...but never got my own email with my site (also, never used the logo thing either as I was not sure how to use it)

**Yes, your very own email address
When you buy a domain name from Yola, or if you already own one from us, you can get matching email addresses for free. It’s ideal for building name recognition for your website.**

I have been trying to purchase Yola email for the last 10 minutes, and every time I go to click on the purchase button, it starts to look like its going smoothly, but then it keeps saying there is a problem with my card. I just got this card, so I know the money is there.

Hi, Amanda,

I have replied to your email. To answer your questions above, Yola
Silver does not include Yola Mail. What you may be seeing is old information before we had Yola Mail where you could set up Google or Windows live.

As for the logo, To start, go to https://secure.logomaker.com/printsta... and follow these steps:

1. Click on "Create New Account" at the top of the page and enter your details.
2. Click on "1 Choose" at the top of the page and choose an industry.
3. Choose the type of icon you would like to use.
4. Design your logo and once done, click on "Save logo".
5. Click on "4 Buy" at the top of the page.
6. You'll be asked to enter your details, and you can enter your credit code into the "Activation code" area.
7. Once done, you'll be able to download the logo and use it for your site and other purposes.

Please note: If your address is outside the US please use CA as your state to download your logo.

Hi Amanda,

In your other post (http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/mai...) you mentioned that due to these problems you have bought another business email. I am sorry to hear this, and I would like to help you resolve this issue in the event that you would like to purchase another product from Yola in the future.

When you tried to purchase Yola Mail, were you applying the $10 Yola Birthday promotion? This promotion does not apply to Yola Mail, and would be the reason that you are unable to purchase Yola Mail.

If you were not applying the promotion, then I would like to get to the bottom of why you are unable to make a payment.

To start could you let me know which browser you were using at the time of the payment attempts? If you were using Internet Explorer, could you try to make your next purchase through Firefox (if you don't have it, you can download it here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) to see if this makes a difference?

When you use your credit card, did you receive an error message? When you closed the error message dialog box, it should have highlighted the field that was causing the problem. Did it do this for you?

Thank you for working through this with us, and we hope to have a resolution for you ASAP.

Jackie

Thank you for the feedback about the logo, I will try that now.

As for the purchase of Yola mail, I have not yet purchased from another vendor for my business email, I have been looking around, but would prefer to stick with Yola, as this is the host of my website.

I do not use IE, very corruptible browser, I prefer not to use FF either. I currently use Google Chrome. I was not using any coupons or codes for the yola mail as I seen that they could not be used for that purchase.

I will try using FF to purchase, and will let you know the outcome of my attempted purchase (again)..lol.

NOPE:...got same message again..

**There was a problem with your form.
There was a problem with your transaction. Please verify your information was entered correctly or try a different credit card.** (through yola cc pymt)

**Through PayPal using CC...
Your credit or debit card has been declined for this transaction; PayPal could not validate the card. Please verify that the information you entered is correct, or try a different credit or debit card.**

This is becoming tiring. I see others are having the same issues, so its not just me, and I have now confirmed it is not my browser either.

Hi Amanda,

Thank you for working through our suggestions. I have checked our payments system, and payments are being accepted from other customers. As per the error message that you are receiving, If our payments system is declining your card, and PayPal cannot validate your card, you will need to try using another card in order to use the credit card option.

My best suggestion would be to open an account with PayPal, you can then link your card to your PayPal account and transfer the funds this way. PayPal is a very safe and effective means of making a payment. For more information please see their website: https://www.paypal.com/

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Jackie

I have a business account with PayPal already...so I don't see why I would be having these issues.

Is there other payment options available to us buyers in regards to yola mail?

Hi Amanda,

At this time we only accept credit cards or payments by PayPal.

You mentioned earlier that you tried to pay through PayPal using CC. When you are on the payments screen and select the PayPal option, and then "Buy now", the PayPal page opens.

Do you select the option "Pay with my PayPal account" or "Pay with a credit card"? Have you tried both of these options?

If neither of these work, my suggestion would be to either try another card. Alternatively if all else fails, you could set up mail using a free mail service (like Google Apps or Windows Live), or use another business mail service.

Thanks,
Jackie

Honestly, I do not think that anyone other then us, the readers searching for information really read what people type here. I clearly stated that i tried going through PayPal to use the credit card feature there, if I had the money in my PayPal, I would have used that, but I don't so telling me to pay with that source is kind of rhetorical. (but thanks for the suggestion)

I also noticed the same answers being given to me, as it was also given to everyone else who has the same problem. I only have ONE CARD, and should not have to use another card to do a simple task as buying online.

Has Yola even checked to see what kind of issues that feature is having? I am almost certain (as someone else pointed the same thing out) that this is the problem. I can purchase anywhere else online with my card, however I am having issues with only Yola, so I know it is NOT my credit card. I would prefer to be able to purchase the email with the company hosting my website. I will just wait, in time hopefully this issue will get worked out.

I already have a free email account, but it is not professional to use a free email, doesn't look good for a business.

Hi Amanda,

I'm sorry this is so frustrating. I have read back through this thread and see that Jackie, who is our Payments Specialist, has been assisting you so you have had the best person in the company possible assisting you with the problem you are having, her #1 job is to make sure our payments systems are running smoothly and she does an excellent job of it. I say all of that because I want you to know that this isn't a small issue to us and Jackie has looked into this thoroughly and given you all of the information that she has at her disposal.

We are accepting other purchases for Yola Mail successfully right now and although there may be glitches with payments at times, generally the clearing of cache or trying a different browser will solve the problem.

When there are problems with our systems, either with the software or our payment systems, we will do everything we can to remedy it. I am sorry that there isn't much else we can do at this point to change the fact that your card is not being validated by PayPal. The only options we are able to offer are that you add money to your PayPal account and purchase that way, or try a different card. I know you said you only have one, possibly having someone else purchase for you and then paying them back. I truly understand you don't want to do this, I'm just trying to exhaust each option available.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
