People can't get on my website, only works in Firefox for me after "updating the site". It redirects the user to the login page to synthasite:
http://www.synthasite.com/login

Original site:
http://ide.synthasite.com/sites/Db57/...

Domain:
http://www.heather-enterprise.de/

It is really urgent, please respond.

Hi Jonas

I am sorry people are having trouble getting onto your website! I was able to access it by going to your published URL: http://www.heather-enterprise.de

The other two URL's should not provide access to your site - one is the login URL (that you use to log into your own account) and the other is your preview URL (the long URL you see in your browser window when you preview your page.) Only you should be able to get to this page and only when you are logged in. This allows you to make changes and preview them without applying them to your live (published) site until you are ready!

Until recently there was a security issue where people could get access a preview of your site by going to your preview URL (the second URL that you posted), if you shared this with them. However, we have corrected this so that other people could only access the published version of your site.

I hope this makes sense to you. If not, please let me know!

Hi Monique,

what I actually did was to link my preview page directly with a service of my domain provider. How do I set it up correctly?

Hi Jonas,

This is what you need to do to point your domain name to SynthaSite:

1. Log in to your chosen domain registrar
2. Go to the DNS Management page.
3. Set up an A Record
4. The IP address of your record must point to: "208.75.208.172"

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours (although usually less) for these changes to take effect. Your domain name registrar should be able to help you out in this regard.

We have a tutorial here http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/p... that will give you more information on how to do this.

Please feel free to let us know if you run into difficulty

OK, l found the option for DNS Management on the site of my domain provider (Edit Nameserver). I entered the IP address and saved. Can I now remove the "redirect service" from my domain provider?
