Understanding syntax of multi level menu

I have looked at the syntax of multi-level menus and noticed that they use ul and li tags. What I can't seem to understand is how to nest them so that they appear properly when using the menu. If someone can help me understand this with examples and/or screencasts I can play around with so that it is nailed in my head how menus work and how I can take a simple menu and make it a multi-level menu. Much appreciated!!

Hello Randy

We apologize in taking so long in answering your question. This is a little out of our depth and so we're asking one of our tech-geeks to come and explain this further to you.

In the meantime, I've been able to pull up a couple of websites that might help you to understand better how this all works:

Thanks Sanja,

I know about the excellent w3schools site. I'll check the other one as well. In the meantime, I am very happy the way my site is coming along. I am totally new to HTML/CSS but I want to continue learning it because it really offers so many options as well as flexibility.
