I have the silver package. I've searched the tutorials, but can't find the answer I'm looking for. Can I upload my own site (complete site)? or do I still have to pick a style?

For a site to work with Yola it needs to be built with our sitebuilder. You need to pick a template and use this as the basis to build your site. You cannot upload a pre-built site as this will not be compatible with our hosting environment.

If you need any assistance building your site with Yola, please let us know.

I would like assistance then with transferring my domain to godaddy. I guess I got sucked into the GYBO thing and made a hasty decision. I want freedom to build the site that I want and not to be locked into a specified design. I mean it is a simple html, css site. What magic software are you running that can't display it? Is your platform compliant? If so why can't a compliant site be uploaded?

This is really interfering with getting my business website up and running.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Yola is a WYSIWIG sitebuilder designed for people who either can't code their sites from scratch or do not wish to do so. We understand that this may not meet everyone's needs and if you would like to transfer your domain away you are welcome to do so. You can also point your domain to GoDaddy as this is quicker and there is no cost involved. Depending on which domain you registered there may be a waiting period before you can transfer it, which is why I recommend pointing.

Detailed instructions on managing your domain are available here: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/categor...

If you are unable to locate the relevant instructions, please email support@yola.com so that we can assist you further. You can also email us so that we can assist you with a refund for your Silver package.

My first question was here:
http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/upl...

Since it was not answered to my satisfaction I would now like to know what I have to do to get a refund for the Silver package and transfer my domain?

I did use the GYBO promotion for the free domain, but I am willing to pay to keep it so I can transfer it.

I am not happy with the requirement that I must use a predefined template.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Transfer Domain.

10qsolutionsnb,
I don't think so.

If you want you can add a .html file into the yola file manager?
