If you need support from Yola please contact us via email@example.com or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
I am trying to update my picture (home page) but the same JPG image file uploaded is previewing way too dark. How do I control how yola controls brightnes & contrast? It is the same uploaded image as before less a layer with a logo from Photoshop.
I can assure you that the features of any pictures you upload to Yola will not be changed when displayed on your website. So it could be your monitor resolution/setting that causes this change, or, as you mentioned, the removal of the logo layer in Photoshop.
Can you do the following experiment for me, please?
Open your picture file on your computer using your normal picture viewer software (not Photoshop), and downsize the window, so that it fits into one half of your screen.
Open your Yola website page where you have added this picture file to, and downsize the browser window to half of your screen space, or view both windows, browser and picture viewer, next to each other on your screen.
Now please compare the colours – is the picture on your Yola website still darker than the picture in your picture viewer? If they're both dark, it is your screen.
If there is a difference between those two pictures, can you please make a screenshot of the whole screen and add it to this thread? Thanks.
