Uploaded images - no icon image and not actually there....

I uploaded a bunch of pictures to my file manager at once. They are showing in the file manager, but I can not see the preview image on the icon. They are located in a sub folder. I have done this with another group of photos and did not have a problem with those. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to delete them all and do it again? PS. I read the post about the corrupted pictures, this is not my problem. My images are showing with a blank icon with an image name underneath, but no preview photo on the icon and I can not add them to a page. If I go to add an image it allows me to select the image and open it, but it never actually posts to the page.

Hi pthompson,

The sitebuilder is running quite slowly at the moment here and I have noticed before that the File Manager seems to be affected most of all. I would check again later on. I suspect that all will be well ??

I was thinking the same thing, so I waited a few days before posting this. I uploaded those pictures last week.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think that's the problem.

Hello pthompsonx5

This seems to be an error specific to your Yola account. I have brought this to our engineers' attention and they will look after it. Please allow a few days to get this fixed. Thank you for your patience.

Are you able to use the uploaded pics on your website still?

I can not use that particular batch of pictures, they seem to have place holders in that file, but don't really exist. I can still upload images and use them in other places. I actually uploaded some of the ones I needed right away and used those on an individual basis. It seems to be that one batch of pictures that is having the problem.

There also seemed to be a few random pictures in other files that were not showing up either meaning that the place holder is there with no preview and no ability to use them on the website. I just checked and those images are fine now.

The specific location is the D&S Stock file - all images missing

Okay, thanks for your feedback on this. Please do not change anything in the D&S Stock folder while our engineers are investigating. Thank you for your cooperation, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hello pthompsonx5

At the moment it's a problem if you include the sign "&" in a folder name. Can you please try to do the same thing, using/creating a folder that doesn't contain "&" in its name? This should work. I will let you know if we change anything about the folder naming that enables using "&". Sorry about that, but I hope choosing a different name will be an acceptable workaround for you. Thanks.

I need to add something: It's not only the "&", but all special characters. Please try to do without special characters for your folder and file names.

Hello pthompsonx5

We have worked a little on the folder naming, and it seems that you can now use the character "&" in a folder name. If you want, test it, and let us know if it shouldn't work.

The character "&" has always worked with file names, so this should still be working.
