I have created a series of HTML pages. I want to replace all the pages from the site builder with these new pages. How can I do that?

Admin,

You need Yola Silver to be able to upload HTML files.

If you can place the HTML into a widget that may help you. CSS can be placed into HTML widget as well. Flash movies can be stored in the File Manager or if too large can be hosted externally.

Without Silver you cannot easily update sitewide styling.

Thank you for the quick reply. I already have a silver account. I am not able to understand whether I need to create Index page through site builder only or I can directly upload the custom page? Also if I upload files, I am not able to see it in File Manager or page manager, why is that? If I can get a path to the uploaded files, I can still manage something.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thank you.

OK. You cannot replace the template and you can only use the templates offered by Yola. You do need to to have your index for anything to work.

You should(?) be able to see uploaded files within the File Manager. the default location is at the first level and they should display if appropriately named. eg .txt, .htm .swf etc.

The path to your files is

{yoursite name}/resources/{optional folder}/filename.xxx

Excellent!!!

What I am thinking is, I will create an Index page from the site builder and try to link other pages from their with the given path.

If it is not possible, can I keep my domain and go to some other web space provider where I will get a FTP access so that all this hassle is saved?

Thank you once again for your prompt reply.

That's innovative and I'm not sure I really understand but give it a try and let us know.
Be aware that adventurous stuff can break your site so if you have stuff that's valuable create duplicates or a test site.

Your domain is yours you can do with it what you like. It can remained hosted on Yola and simply pointed to another host

Hello admin,

We do not offer FTP but you can point or transfer your domain away if needed. If you still need assistance with this, please let us know.
