Urgghhhhhh - waiting for domain release email

How long to receive an email with URL transfer info. First request sent via email Monday (acknowledged that it had been sent to DNS for response within 48 hours), since saw you can request this online by unchecking "lock this domain"? I registered over 60 days ago (just!)

Hello Tracey,

Apologies for the delay. Your email states you are wanting to change your Nameservers. Are you wanting to change these or transfer your domain away?

If you uncheck the "lock this domain" you should get the email within a few hours.

Have you also checked your spam filter?

Yes, I am wanting to transfer my domain away as my new site has been designed with Wordpress which unfortuantley doesn't work with Yola :(

I will continue to wait for the email ... there is nothing in my 'junk' folder.

sorry to hijack but....I am having the same problem.
Unchecked the box to transfer domain away and..............nothing.
5 days and still nothing, sent a support request last night and they told me the wrong information.
Nothing in junk mail at all

Any news ... It's now 4pm and I still do NOT have any email in my Junk mail or inbox. My first request was Monday 2 ish - it is now over that 48hour waiting period (which by the way I appreciate as I am not a siler member) - please Jeremy, help me out!!!!

Hi Tracey,
Are you trying to transfer away a .co.uk domain name possibly? The process for this is a bit different. You need to request an IPS tag from your new registrar and then give it to us to add to your domain settings. Please let us know.

Hi Emmy. I registered a URL through Yola just over 60 days ago (www.getorganised.co). I did this cause it was easy to do via your site as I have registered another URL www.traceyfoulkes.com with you and easily set up the site for that through you too.

I wanted to set up a Wordpress site for this new URL. I since found out that Yola does not support Wordpress sites and that is why I need to move my URL to our new website host Pipe Ten. My new site is ready to go live for testing and I want to put it onto the getorganised.co site but am finding it difficult to get what I need in order to do this. My first mail was sent to you over 50 hours ago with info I copied and pasted from my webdesigner (all greek to me) - all I really need to do is transfer the URL from you to Pipe Ten (at least I think this is all).

I have already registered my account with Pipe Ten so just need the release details from you so I can provide it to them.

Hope this makes sense and can be resolved ASAP - I am starting to feel frustrated and have wasted so much time on this request today alone.

Please please please can you help.

I can understand this is frustrating. I do see that the EPP code has been sent from our side and I would like to make sure that you are checking the correct email address for the EPP code, the one that you registered the domain name under. Can you email me at support@yola.com and mark it Attn: Emmy so I can pick it up. I don't want to share account details here in the forum. We'll keep working on it until it's resolved.

hi Tracey
thought you might be interested to know that i am in the same situation as you. Yola don't seem to like letting people go. I have had it confirmed from several sources that all i need is a release code from yola, indeed yolas own site states that it sends a release code so the domain can be transfered. However when push comes to shove they seem either unwilling or unable to do this.
Like you my site is ready to go live with another host and the domain is to be transfered to another registrar and i just need the code from Yola however it has now been 96 hours and i am being told different thigs by different staff at Yola.
I am now more than frustrated with them, I cannot believe that a company that markets itself to web novices makes it so. complicated.
i will not be using Yola agian in a hurry (if I ever escape!!!)

While it is true we are sad to see members move on, we do not do anything to prohibit you from doing so. Rather we take it as an opportunity to learn how we can better improve our product and service.

The code you are both waiting for is sent via an automated email to the address originally associated with your domain. In Tracey's case we have triggered the system to resend these automated emails and we're sorry they are not reaching you.

Tracey, I was able to locate your account history and as such I retrieved your code and sent it to you manually.

Mark, Unfortunately I do not have enough information in this thread to locate your account history but I am happy to do the same for you if you reply with the URL for the domain you need a transfer code for.
