Click on My Yola (above your site) and you'll see a preview of your site with the url on it.

Hi Phil, thanks for the answer. However maybe I should explain what I want to do; I want to add the URL in my Signature box to my site. I have some already, facebook, linkedin etc. So I did what you said, and they do not work, they are all in black, the others facebook etc are all in blue, click on FB and it opens on face book Site, clikc my copies, and nothing.

So it is the URL code I need?? I think LOL

Hello,

It sounds like you are trying to find a URL shorten-er. Try using http://goo.gl , http://bitly.com , or http://tinyurl.com

I may have misunderstood you, if that is the case go ahead and clarify exactly what you want.

Hope this helps!

Hello gordon,

No question is too silly to ask! I see that both Philip and Mike have both given you some possible ideas. Please let us know if neither answers your question and if they don't, please do clarify further.

Hello UK Man!,

Can you please share your domain and the page where this signature box is? I'm not sure if I fully understand so it might be helpful to see this.

yes sure Sanja,

and my real name is Gordon. The Signature box is in Yahoo, and also Google G Mail. In The yahoo one, I have facebook, linkedin, etc, and if you click them it goes to their Websites. I am not sure about the Google one, as I have not set it up yet.

My Domains are: firstworldwar-history.co.uk and smartsolutionsuk.info.

So all I want to do is add the URL so when people get an email from me, they can click it, and hey presto their is my site.

Thanks

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

Your URL is your domain name: firstworldwar-history.co.uk and smartsolutionsuk.info.

In order to add this to your email, you will need to contact your respective email provider for ways to implement this. Thanks!

Strange Answer Brianna,

I have never had to contact Yahhoo when I added Face Book, Linkedin, Twittwer or Skype URLs.

All I am asking for is my URL Code, and I thought Yola would have it somewhere?

All I want is my URL Code?

Please

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

As I have said previously, your URLs are firstworldwar-history.co.uk and smartsolutionsuk.info. All email providers work a bit differently. If you would like a simple link, you can add these to your email signature and use a link function which will allow people who receive your emails to click on your URLs and open your websites.

If I am missing what you are asking, please clarify your request a bit more.

Hi Brianna,

Thank you for your constant help, I have spoken to Yahoo, and they automatically change the http:firstworldwar-history.co.uk ro a URL. But it take time!!

I sent myself an email and it had not changed, so I thought it was not working, but it takes time for them to change it

So thanks for your help Brianna, wonderful as ever - Kiss

Well you learn something everyday Brianna, so if it helps others with a silly question, it maybe worth pointing out that if they put there URL into the Signature box, don't expect it to work straight away. This is how I found out, I looked on the Yahoo Help Page and found this Post.

Yahoo! Mail automatically turns URLs you type, like http://www.yahoo.com, and email addresses like example_email@domain.co.uk, into links. You don't need to do anything to make an email or a web address to a link. However, a number of email programs won't display these as links, and users of these programs will simply have to copy what you've typed and paste it into their browser's address bar.
In Rich Text mode, on the format tab, there's also an "Add a link" button (two chain links) in the toolbar, which opens a window where you can type a web address. Yahoo! Mail then inserts it into your email as a link.
For links to work, you'll need a javascript-enabled browser and we do not yet support Safari for this feature.

So I contacted Yahoo, and they said yes they do do it, but take time.

So where as I thought I had done something wrong, it was not me but the slowness of Yahoo - NOT like Yola who are very fast of the mark tonight Brianna.

Thanks for your help.
