Hi Marc,

You can create subdomains using the Advanced Domain Settings and setting up A Records, here's how:

1. Login to your Yola account and make sure you are on the "My Sites" page.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tick the box next to "Enable advanced domain settings".
3. You will be scrolled back up to the top, click on "Advanced domain settings".
4. To access the domain settings, click on [Details] next to the related domain.
5. To access the A Record, click on [Edit this?] next to DNS Entries.
6. You'll need to add to add two A Records, make sure that "A" is selected next to "Add a new DNS Record Type" and click on the "Add" button.
7. Under "Name" add the subdomain you would like to use (eg. group).
8. Under "Value" add Yola's IP address (
9. On the second A Record, under "Name" add *.name (where name is your subdomain) and the IP address is the same.
10. Your subdomain is then available as (for example).
11. You will be able to publish a new site to that subdomain by choosing "Use my Domain" when clicking on "Publish my Site".

For more information on accessing the DNS Settings on your domain, please view this tutorial:

Please note: Changing your domain settings can result in your site no longer working. Please be sure you understand the consequence of the changes you are making. If you need any help making the change to your domain, please let us know.

I have created a jobboard at the moment it is linking directly to the job board at https://brighterfutures4africa.easyjo... however i have been told that I could have the job board appear as part of the brighterfutures4africa domain by creating a subdomain for the job board to live on. e.g. I have created a subdomain following your instructions above, but don't know how to now make the jobboard appear on my site.

Thanks very much
