I was surfing through Facebook Developers and saw this page: and seeing that a lot of Yola users want a registration site, someone (smarter than me) can use this resource. Hope it helps someone!

Hi Ruhan,
Thanks for providing the link. Yes, we do know that people would like a form of registration site, this is something that will take intense amounts of development time and although it's not in the works right now, it could be something we look into in the future.

Kind Regards,

I've created FB app and implemented this FB reg form on my site. Now, how to track persons who actually registered via this form and then contact them? I've tested it registering a couple of friends of mine, then checked my app's stats and insights on FB just to find out zeros there. FB support ain't replying you officially, while the subject itself hardly covered in their vast documentation... Anyone?

I'm afraid I don't really have anything to add, but maybe if you provided some more details about how you added the Facebook registration, some other members of our community might be able to chime in.

Thanks Laura.

Firstly, create your Facebook page, I'd suggest to create it separately from your main profile - use different email address. Then assign yourself as admin to that page, and login as yourself. Then, simply copy-paste iframe code to your HTML widget on your website from Facebook link which Ruhan posted above. Now you need your client_id which one generates by creating Facebook app: scroll down main Facebook page -> Developers -> Build for Website -> then up the page -> Apps -> +Create New App -> fill out fields and you're good to go! You'll find your client_id number just on top panel of your app's profile. Copy-paste that number for client_id in iframe code I mentioned above, don't delete "&" at the end of line. Now, check your website, try register somebody - it should work, Facebook checks person's identity and lets one through.

However, where is it recorded, how do you know who has actually registered with your site? I mean, I know where it should be displayed - on my Facebook app profile, stats and insights. But zeros there I find.

It could be some problems with app profile itself, some of my data must be wrongly put in. Say, I got no clue what Canvas URL means (and FB suggestions at question marks are even more sadistic to one's brain...), so I've put my app's URL on Facebook... And other fields, that might be wrongly understood - if understood at all - and accordingly filled out, - might affect my app's performance and statistics, I recon.

A little help, here?
