Hi - Been looking around for a while for a slideshow generator to use on my website and have just come across which seems to tick all the boxes for me.

(Yes embarrassingly, I can now see that it's mentioned on the Yola blog . . . which if I'd looked there first would have saved me hours of searching  !!! Ooops!)

I've successfully created a basic free slideshow and got it up and running on my site, but there are limitations on usage for the free version.

Two questions :

> Is anyone else using ComSlider and are there any potential problems / shortfalls I should be aware of before I pay to upgrade? (impressed so far with the free bit)

> ComSlider also have unlimited free use if you download your slideshow and host it directly on your own site. Can't figure out how to do that though . . . has anyone successfully implemented that who could share some simple instructions? The tutorial on the Yola blog only deals with hosting via ComSlider itself.
If it's not possible or horrendously complicated I'm happy enough to stick with the ComSlider hosting and upgrade.

Sarah :)

p.s. my site is : if anyone wants to look.

Hi Sarah,

Your web site looks great ;)
comslider is very suitable for integration on the web pages that are made with some online site makers.
It's very popular on moonfruit, homestead and many others. It becomes very popular on Yola also.
You can see a demo with some FAQ here:
