I am thinking of revisiting the use of Accordion menus in my web site. What is the easiest way to implement them? I would like to hear back from people who have actually incorporated accordion menus in their site(s). I have some ideas for my site that I know accordion menus would play a big role.

Thanks!!

Hi Randy

I have played around with dynamic menus and the easiest, or most organized, way I have found for doing it, is to first create a separate folder in the File Manager for the menu.  Then I create sub-folders in the folder for each component of the menu, e.g. images, css, scripts.

Then, on a test page that is out of navigation, I use a HTML Widget to add the HTML and scripts needed to handle the menu, making sure that I reference the file paths for the files I uploaded in the File Manager.   This way, I can test the menu before I use it on my site.

Hope others will have different or easier ways that will inspire you.  Good luck!

Thanks Nazie. I will try that. are there any recomended sites that work well with Yola, I go to to obtain the code?

How do I write the path back to my file manager? I keep forgetting what the path is. Is there a place in the future I can go to that reminds me of what the correct syntax is for the path back to the file manager.

Hello Randy,

Really.. any site that uses HTML codes should work with Yola. You just need to stay away from PHP and ASP codes as we do not support these.

The pathway to your file would look something like this:

I hope that helps!
