To whom it may concern;

My site is not showing up on the internet anymore after being published for a year. I'm unsure why this problem has occured. When I use site builder the page shows, it says everything is up and running, and I even tried to republish/update the page...nothing. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you for your time...

Hi Aimee

I'm sorry to see you're having this problem.

Could you post your site's URL so I can take a look?

Thanks!

That URL is invalid. Is that what it says at the top of the site builder where it says "Your site's URL"?

Nope. Nothing's changed. I did send an email to customer service so I should hear in 24 hours. I just thought maybe the sites expire after a year or some such other problem I wasn't aware of, because it makes zero sense otherwise. But thank you for your help!

Hi Aimee,

Just wondering when you purchased the domain name, is it over 1 year, and how long did you purchase the domain for? 1 year or 2 years?

Your domain could have expired. Also, who did you buy the domain from?

Oh yeah! I think Andi got it! Well done, Andi!

@Aimme: Your domain may have expired.

But wait, if it still says your site is published to that domain then it probably isn't expired.

When I built the site, the name I have was included...upgrading took YOLA off the bottom of the page and I opted out at that time. Have there been any changes in terms?

Hi Aimee,

Did you upgrade to Yola Silver? and use their free domain credit?

Or have you registered the domain with someone else?

Still bronze...haven't done any upgrades or registered the site anywhere. It was fine here when I created the page in Feb. 2010. As stated, I'm wondering if there's been changes in the last few months I'm unaware of. I built the site as a favor to a friend for his tavern and it's been great until a couple weeks ago...I can't figure out what's changed. The account has no internal changes and I can see the site when I pull up My Yola...it says the page is published.

Could you check your "My Domains" or "Domain" tab on your My Yola home.

If the domain is listed there it should be all good. A screenshot would also be helpful.

Also, did you purchase the domain through Yola before you revoked the subscription to Yola Silver?

This is what I get looking it up in Network Solutions whois directory

Status: redemption Period
Updated Date: 15-mar-2011
Creation Date: 02-feb-2010
Expiration Date: 02-feb-2011

Maybe redemption period means you still have time to reclaim/renew the domain name

This shows that it expired on the 2nd Feb 2011.

This means Aimee, that you will need to renew your domain name, This will be why the site is not working!
