I just started a new job with a new company and they put me in charge of building their website. I was very intimidated but as I'm the youngest person in the company, it is not surprising they thought I was the best to build it. Yola has helped immensely and my bosses are very impressed with my website. Any problems I had were solved within hours which helped me stay on top of everything.

We buy, flip, and sell houses in the greater Pittsburgh area. Check out our new site and please provide feedback. We appreciate constructive criticism and love positive comments. Anything you think will help the website grow and get noticed is appreciated as I've never done any SEO before.

Hello,
Welcome to the Yola forum and very nice looking site!

Yes, SEO is such an important piece of the puzzle when building a successful website. We have a really thorough tutorial series that will take you through the basics from planning to building to promoting. If you are really wanting to implement SEO into your site, this would be the best place to start.

You will also see on the list of SEO resources that there is a tutorial on optimizing your site for local search which would also be good for you to look at as it sounds to me like you provide a service to a specific geographic area.

Here is a link: Yola SEO Resources.

Search engine optimization isn't a fast process and takes a bit of time to implement, and then it's something you want to continually be working on. I hope these resources will be helpful to you :)

Your tutorials are, as always, fabulous! I especially liked the local search options.

Since you guys are an actual business with a physical location there are a few free easy things you can do right away to help you out.

Your window/page title is fine but you might consider one small change to make you show up in more searches ....I would add your state.....Like this.....Pittsburgh Real Estate Pennsylvania|Pittsburgh Restoration Group,LLC

OK the free stuff that will help you.

Google,Bing and Yahoo all have free local business listings and it helps you greatly to list with them....Search engines are aware of the IP location of users when they get search results.Listing with these services gives you a good chance of being high in search results for those in your area. They of course should be considered your greatest chance of being a future customer....local.com and yelp.com are good places for you to list also.

Have you verified your site with Google and submitted your sitemap.xml with them?

I have started the verification process with google and google places as well as bing but since I just did that yesterday I believe it should take a few days before anything happens with that. All of these suggestions are so wonderful and helpful.

Another thing to consider is a blog page for company updates etc...One thing I do on my blog is post photos customers send me of my product they bought from me and how it looks in their home....You guys could do something like that but maybe a photo and a few words about a family in front of their home they bought from you.....Blogs are awesome for SEO in my opinion
